OuR Process

Our figurine design creation process begins with an idea for conceptual development, where we sketch a rough draft foundational chart, and write a descriptive outline of the design idea, to define the character’s core attributes, theme, and visual style. This serves as the blueprint for the next phase, where we design a hybrid image that incorporates illustrating, tracing and copy/pasting from various source materials found in our studio and online.

Once the 2D concept is complete, we sculpt it into a 3D model by creating a STL file. We then digitally paint and prepare it for 3D printing using our printer’s software. After printing, we assemble the individual parts we’ve produced using adhesive, sometimes adding molding putty for structural integrity, and hand-paint any areas that require fine detailing or touch-ups.

The final piece is a unique fusion of illustration, digital collage, and sculptural craftsmanship. Big thanks to anyone reading this that’s taken an interest in our brand!
